5 Months old!

Cameron turned 5 months old yesterday! He is really getting the hang of the sitting up thing and the rolling over thing. He has actually gotten really good at putting his own pacifier back in his mouth, now if he would only learn to let go after he put it in there, he would not pull it right back out!

He still only has one tooth that broke the surface. I can tell more are on their way! I haven't gotten any pictures lately because I have been super busy! I will definitely get some soon! I am hoping to do another "professional" type shoot for his 6 month (not at the store, but me dressing him up and taking the pics myself with my lovely assistant, Keith)

Well off to bed to get some much needed sleep.

Wow! Time Sure Flies!!

I can't believe how much Cameron changes from day to day! He is rolling over, almost sitting up on his own, finding his voice.... REALLY finding his voice LOL especially when he decides that 3AM is a good time to sing and talk. He loves to laugh at us when we do silly things.

He has started sleeping on his own in his Pack N Play ( I know, I have been having him sleep with us but I just couldn't transition him yet.) He is doing really well over all. I have been having him sleep in it for naps and at night and he is putting himself to sleep. Now the next step is sleeping through the whole night!

Also the newest thing is we have started eating veggies!! We tried to eat cereal on a spoon but he wouldn't take it that way. He likes it in his bottle (I don't put too much in the bottle because I know it can be hazardous if it is too thick.) Our doctor told us to start vegetables first because fruit is sweet and he may not want veggies if he gets fruit first. We started with squash. He started slow but by the second day he was all about it! Now we have tried green beans as well and he sooooo loves it!!

4 Months Old!!

Cameron will be 4 months old on Monday. We took him to his appointment on Friday and he weighed 13lbs 7oz and 24 inches! He is almost double his birth weight! They gave us to OK to start trying cereals with him and he got his second set of shots.... Which overall went ok but I cried the whole time....

Cameron is going to be 4 months old on Monday!!! We are going for his 4 month appointment tomorrow and he will be getting his second set of shots (yuk!!!) But we will also be talking to the doctor about when to start him on cereal and see how much he has grown. Of course I will update when I get back. We had a great first Christmas with him, we got to spend lots of time with both sides of our families and he was passed around like a hot potato and LOVED it! We also learned that he will be getting some new "cousins" soon because my friends Mauria and Melissa are pregnant again!! Two more babies!!!

We rang in the New Year in typical newborn fashion, up all night! I am excited about the what this new year will bring for me and my little family and I can't wait!

Why so serious....?

Ok First of all, if you get where the title comes from... well then it just proves why I like you. Because you are a nerd/geek like me. Speaking of nerd/geek, I just wanted to give a shout out to one of the best written sitcom shows... The Big Bang Theory. Quirky writing, witty jokes, an overabundance of nerdy references and just a wee bit of awkwardness makes for a fun show that anyone who has seen all 3 real star wars movies (more than twice) will definitely enjoy.

Anyways I have been having an awesome time with my little bundle o' joy as of late. We love to cuddle up in bed and make silly faces at each other. His new fav is waking me up in the morning with a giant cheesy grin and a giggle that would melt anyones heart. He is growing with leaps and bounds! He is currently outgrowing his 0-3 clothing and will soon be happily filling out the next size up.... And he has learned that sleeping through the night makes for a happier mommy....LOL

He is definitely aware of whats going on, we can't sit in the dark when he is awake because he wants to SEE everything! He is really trying to work his muscles by pulling himself up by my fingers! I swear soon he will be sitting! He definitely recognizes mom and dad, when dad comes home from work and comes up to him, he shows off his big ol' toothless smile.... which in my opinion by the way he is acting won't be toothless much longer! He is drooling a ton and trying to chew on things so I think he may be starting to teethe! Well he is 3 months old now?!?

What? Wait? 3 months? Has it really been that long? Wow, when they say the first year really flies they mean it!
